Petrotema’s Scope of Work
- Preparation of Job Hazard Analysis
- Visual Inspection of the 10’’ X R/F-600 LB rating bolted cover mono basket strainer drain line.
- Dis-assembling of existing mono basket strainer drain line nipple and 1’’ elbow to source for a new nipple and elbow that matches the basket strainer drain bore diameter.
- Review of the Process and Instrumentation Drawing (P&ID), Piping Isometric Drawing of the gas metering skid to confirm the existing metering skid piping materials specification.
- Acquisition of new 1’’ standard nipple and elbow based on the vendor’s drawings.
- Installation of new 1’’ standard nipple and elbow.
- Carried out investigation to determine the existing profile (major diameter, minor pitch diameter, thread angle, thread root, crest, pitch and depth) of the basket strainer drain bore diameter using thread gauge and other instruments since new 1’’ standard nipple could not match the strainer drain bore diameter as per the vendor’s drawings.
- Machining of the new nipple to obtain the precise dimension and profile of the basket strainer drain bore diameter.
- Transportation from PTEL’s Workshop to Uquo CPF.
- Installation of new nipple and elbow to existing mono basket strainer drain.
- Leak test by the client’s representative to confirm that the 10’’x R/F-600 LB rating bolted cover mono basket strainer drain line is leak proof.
- As-built drawing of the gas metering skid is required to capture the modifications of the basket strainer drain line.
